TED-Ed: The Paradox of Unanimous Decisions

My latest TED-Ed is up, and not everyone is supposed to like. I present "The Paradox of Unanimity".

Much to my surprise, the folks over at IdeaRocket did a brief write-up about the animation. Typically with TED-Ed's, all of the talk is the content, but IdeaRocket has broken down how I conceived and animated the material. They even went as far as looking up some of my past work, which is pretty cool. Big thanks to IdeaRocket for taking the time to look at my work!

(Another) AV Club Shout Out

I've been reading The Onion's AV Club pretty much daily for over 15 years, so I was pretty excited when I saw an old TED-Ed on Game of Thrones/The War of the Roses featured on their site the other day. I'm proud to say that it is the second time my work has been featured on the AV Club, though it's the first time I've been given a shout out directly by name. So that's kind of cool.

COP21 Climate Change (with an assist from Morgan Freeman)

I teamed with the excellent folks over at ShoulderHill Entertainment to design and animate a quick short video for COP21 Climate Change Conference in Paris.

Oh, and they got Morgan Freeman to narrate it, so that was a nice assist. We had been looking for a project to work on for so long, glad it finally worked out.

From the Vaults: The World Bank

Last year I got to do some really fun stuff for The World Bank. This was for a conference, I believe, so it's just now making its debut.

The School of Life: How to Get a Divorce

My first animation for The School of Life is a road map to Splittsville.
